The Interboro Regional Health Information Organization, Interboro RHIO, is a clinical data exchange serving Queens, northern Brooklyn, and surrounding communities. The Interboro RHIO facilitates the sharing of patient information between authorized health care providers at the point of care.
When linked to the Interboro RHIO, providers become part of an interconnected community that, through clinical data sharing, can achieve dramatic improvements in both the quality and cost of healthcare.
- For Patients: The Interboro RHIO supports technology that allows your health care providers to share their medical records using a computer network, instead of paper, so you can get better care.
- For Providers: The Interboro RHIO is currently providing financial assistance for qualifying practices implementing Electronic Medical Records, as well as opportunities for participation in health information sharing through the Interboro RHIO

The Interboro RHIO includes hospitals, home care agencies, physician practices, and other providers. To learn if your healthcare provider is a participant, visit our ‘List of Participating Providers’.
